How many faces?

It should be no surprise for me to (re)discover that none of us truly knows another human being. I've read there are 3 faces to every person, 6 faces, 15 faces ... frankly I think we have innumerable facets to our psyches, or "souls," if you believe in that sort of thing.

Suffice it to say this: far be it for me to ever suppose I know even myself as well as I want to. And there is little doubt in my mind that I have only begun to scrape the surface of myself, much less any of my friends or family.

No matter how well I know this to be true? I am always a little freaked out to find complete strangers inside my loved ones.
