^ Workplace Pranks
There is a reason I’d never before played a prank on acoworker. No matter how well you think you know him or her, you can’t reliablypredict the reaction. And let me tell you, when it goes awry, it’s quitemiserable.
Today I wrapped a coworker’s cube in plastic wrap, afterstripping it bare of all personal effects. (It was the culmination of aone-upsmanship day, where the tricks and gags escalated, and I would not bebeaten, so I stayed late to clear out his cute entirely of all decoration.
Here are my finished results:
I was pretty proud of myself, until my worker arrived. Hepromptly sunk into an ever-increasing funk. He was in that funk for DAYS, untilwell after I’d put the damn cube back the way it originally was.
It was such a negative experience … I hope I never doanything like this ever again.
