Zombie Jesus Day Noshing Suggestions

I have guests coming over for ZJ Day, and I'm keen to start a family ritual of our own, wherein we eat well and enjoy the company of those who enjoy us. It would be funny to pillory traditional religionist rituals, if possible. But I wasn't raised in a religion that held "Easter" to be biblical, so I'm hoping a reader out there can offer some context to help a heathen out. What did you eat for "Easter?" What religious activities did you perform (pagan or Judeo-Christian)?The stuff I knew from childhood was a new church outfit, at best. The rest of it tended to tell stories of the Zombie Jesus ("Yay! He rose!") but not really offer anything other than the very pagan easter egg hunt and going out with other churchies for lunch. So here's where I'm starting for my meal, thus far: deviled eggs (surely those will be easy to zombify) and some red, sweet salad ... cranberries, maybe, or a red-frutied spinach salad. My honey man made a new recipe we recently found with loads of cranberries in it, plus poppy seeds and sesame seeds and a cup of sugar combined with vingear, so it had "bits" floating in the dressing ... very gruesome in a zombie context, me thinks. But I'm stuck on more ideas right now ... got any you want to share? Please do!Zombie jesus day
