The things on my radar are my priorities. What are yours?

One of mine is trying to offer common courtesies to others –those little polite and deferential phrases. I say “sir” or “ma’am.” I saythank you to people who hold doors open for me, who refill my glass of water ata restaurant. I try not to run over people with my shopping cart; I apologizeif I bump into someone with my purse. I try to be nice to people. I find thatI’m not normal in this regard.

How much nicer might our daily environments be if we justtried a little bit to be only slightly more nice to each other?
