^ It’s the little things.

I amuse myself, the things I pay attentionto and give weight to. Like Seinfeld with his fussy taste in dates, or EddieMurphy surreptitiously inspecting the feet of his bed partners to determinelong-term relationship potential in “Boomerang,” I find myself noting qualities and ticks aboutpeople, and finding that I am just as fussy and demented as Seinfeld or Murphy.(Truth is, after all, stranger than fiction.)

For instance, I like a nice pair of hands. They need to be strong hands, but not rough. They need to be cared for but notoverly manicured. Nothing turns me off quite like nails that are too long, ortoo painted, or too scruffy. I like a nice skin tone. Puffy hands, pudgy hands– out. Lean hands, muscled hands – in. A little hair is nice. Too much hair isnot. I like a cool hand or a warm hand, but not a sweaty or clammy hand.

Hands. They say so much about a person, don’tyou think?
